About Bridget

I have had a lot of experience with caring for and spending time with young children. From a very young age, I have been very interested in working with young children. With 12 younger cousins, I always took on the role of babysitting at family gatherings. Being a daughter of a kindergarten teacher has given me many experiences with young children, as well. It also has expanded my knowledge of how patience and focusing on the positives is key in working with children. I also know a lot of games and songs to play with children. I started babysitting when I was 12 and still continue for family, friends, and neighbors. I also have volunteered at vacation bible school at my church for the last 4 summers. In high school, I took child development and advanced child development where I learned many things about caring for children. I completed both classes and I received an A. I plan to pursue a career as a preschool teacher or childcare instructor.
