About Andrea

Youth are our future and I have had the privilege of supporting children in many different contexts over the years! My first babysitting job was when I was 12. I was a swim & diving instructor in my teens as well. I have babysat consistently since then! I spent a year as a daycare teacher for children aged 3mo-4 years, before that daycare closed. For five years, until about a month ago when I took my dream job in volunteer services, I worked in youth mentoring. I take an empowering approach to working with children. I want them to relate to me and to feel comfortable being their full selves! I am grateful for every family that allows me to be a part of their child's life.
