About Blain

Hi! My name is Blain, and I'm a psychology student at Seattle Pacific University. I have extensive experience working with children through tutoring, volunteering, and family care. I've tutored my younger brother and volunteered at Holy Rosary School, as well as with the Youth Tutoring Program (YTP) at the High Point Community Center. I'm especially confident helping students with math and reading. I'm passionate about supporting children, particularly those with special needs. I have personal experience caring for my sister, who has special needs, and I've also worked with students with autism at Chief Sealth International High School. These experiences have helped me develop patience, empathy, and strong communication skills. I truly enjoy helping children learn, grow, and feel supported, and I strive to create a positive, encouraging environment where every child can succeed. Thank you!
