About Betsy

I am passionate about providing caring and nurturing spaces in all areas of my life; creating that for children is very important to me because (as cheesy as it may sound) children carry the future. I believe each child deserves gentle and authentic love and I believe the environments they grow up in help to determine the future they create. I grew up in a very large family - I am the fourth of eight children - and I know that this has created in me a special love for kids. I have always had a strong nurturing instinct, even from a young age, and have greatly enjoyed putting this into action with the families I have worked for in the past. I started nannying in high school and have always been actively involved in my church's childcare. I majored in English in college and I love to both read and write! I love to bake, I love coffee, and I love decorating and creating aesthetically pleasing and cozy spaces.
