I'm telling you the truth, I have been a tutor for 8 years. It was great until the YMCA director asked me for my certification. I have been working with the Y since 2003 but last year, the company asked for the State certification which I am currently working on. Since that time, I have been tutored children in their homes. I also took some other classes in order to work with children with disabilities. In addition to that I am ESOL endorsed. I can work with people that are learning English as a second language. I took those classes at Florida International University. The best part about tutoring for me is working with students one-on-one and knowing that I play a part in their academic success.
