About Claudia

I love teaching and have tons of experience! I just graduated from MIT, where I was very involved in the Experimental Study Group, a program where undergraduates can take small classes of 3-10 students, usually taught by another student. I developed and taught several for-credit courses, such as seminars on current events and world religions. ou can see one of the classes I developed on MIT's OpenCourseWare website at http://ocw.mit.edu/OcwWeb/Special-Programs/SP-246Fall-2004/CourseHome/index.htm. I was also a philosophy teaching assistant for three semesters, and mentored first-year students for three years. I tutored many students, grades K-12, when I was in high school in areas such as chemistry, math, SATs, Spanish, and writing. I taught piano lessons to children ages 5 through 13 for three years as well. I spent time in middle school helping at my old elementary school in a kindergarten class for two years. You can see I have spent a lot of time teaching! At MIT, I took classes in political science, history, philosophy, math, biology, chemistry, physics, computer science, and many other areas. I currently feel comfortable tutoring almost any subject, elementary through high school, as well as test prep. (My SAT scores were 780 math, 740 verbal, 780 math IIC, and 800 writing.)
