About Barbara
I have been caring for children most of my life--since I was 10. So that's 40 years. I have taken care of younger siblings, friends' kids, and my nieces and nephews. I am creative and passionate about children's literature and writing. I'd be happy to engage your children in fun activities. I also can tutor in most elementary subjects, except math. I love babies and would welcome the opportunity to care for newborns to toddlers as well as older children.

She was nice with the kids but lacked common sense. she was taking care of my son and daughter who I kept home from school. daughter was sick the day before and had a fever at 3a she asked if she could take kids on a walk later in the day. I said sure. Barbara was given my work # and cell #. She texted me that she was taking the kids to the zoo but didn't have a key. when I asked her about it she said she left the house open. I live on a busy city block. I also don't know why you'd Take kids to the zoo when they're home sick from school. When they got home my daughter had a fever. Barb stated she knew how to operate the ear thermometer and that she didn't need me to show her how to use it but then didn't know how to get a temp. There are several bottles of kids medicine chewable and liquid in a plastic tub she was shown when I left that day. She gave a 1/2 dose of liquid Tylenol because she couldn't find any other medicine. when I got home my daughter had a temp of 103F. Would not hire again.
