About Barbara

Hello I am the mother of 6 wonderful children, my youngest is now 17. I absolutely love children!!! I have 40 years of experience caring for children in various settings. After relocating to Colorado in 1992, I quickly became a private Nanny. I have been a part of numerous families, all of which I still adore. I have made many special bonds with their children, and we all are still like family. I have experience with newborns, twins, autistic children, and I have been involved with helping students with e-learning. I am first-aid and CPR certified. I was employed with ASD20 for 5 years teaching Special Needs/Affective Needs students. My current family is moving, therefore I am searching for a new family to join. I love the outdoors, I am an active runner, love hiking and pretty much anything outdoors. I am excited to find the next wonderful family that needs somebody to love their precious little ones. I am proud of my calling to be a Nanny! There is nothing more rewarding!!!

Barbara was pretty unreliable, had to find care for a couple instances upon initially hiring her to work for us. She also pushed back when I asked for certain things regarding my child and rules in my house, or didn't follow the rules at all. I hired her for certain days over another person who I would have preferred and when she showed up Day 1 claimed she could no longer work those days. I don't know what is true that she says, but felt misled about availability, and was told last minute when she would be unable to work, causing my family to scramble to put childcare together. I would tread cautiously to those wanting to hire Barbara.
