About Reyna

Reyna was with our family for two years and started watching our children right after we moved to Colorado Springs. The position was supposed to be temporary while we moved and got settled in with our third baby. However, we were quickly so impressed with her professionalism that we offered her a permanent position. She watched our three children from June 2021 to June 2023. While she was with us, she truly became a cherished and integrated part of our family. Our children loved her and we loved having someone that cared for them so deeply. With Reyna, you will have an incredibly reliable nanny. Over the course of two years, she was never late and only cancelled if sick. She is proactive with planning and clearly communicates any schedule changes such as doctor appointments, vacations etc. She is both flexible and professional, which makes it very easy to streamline any work expectations. She always provided updates and addressed any concerns. Her dependability was nothing short of remarkable. As a parent of wildly energetic kids, it was very important to us to have a nanny that was actively engaged. Reyna's playful energy and fun personality was the perfect fit for our children. She was always packing up healthy picnics and taking the kids to the park, going on hiking adventures, and engaging them with fun crafts and activities. She was also instrumental in teaching our daughter how to read as well as helping our son potty train. However, it is Reyna's genuine love for caregiving and her nurturing spirit that truly stand out. She is calm, kind, and respectful towards children. For example, when their father deployed, she was able to help our kids navigate all the big emotions associated with a parent being gone for seven months. She approached any behavior issues with consistency, patience, and grace. Reyna is a truly fantastic caregiver. She has a wonderful ability to both celebrate a child for who they are as an individual and encourage them to grow. Leaving children in her capable care is done with ease because they will be safe, nurtured, and happy in her hands. She was instrumental to so many of the joyful memories we have of Colorado Spring and will always be considered an extension of our family. We highly recommend her for anyone looking for a trustworthy and dedicated long-term nanny.
