About Summer

I am looking on behalf of my current client to find another family with a child (18mo or younger) who would like to join a nanny share (for a total of 2 children) M-Th. Please reach out if you think this could be you! I have years of experience with children, starting with babysitting when I was 8 years old. I became a full time nanny in 2018. I specialize in infants and babies, ages birth-2. 5 years, but I love taking care of any age. I have a preference for nanny shares to encourage socialization from a very early age. I bring Montessori fundamentals to an authoritative parenting style. It's important that kids learn to self-validate and course-correct while still feeling supported and loved. I feel as though there should be a balance between being reasonably firm and setting healthy boundaries as well as taking on a uniquely emotional role of being a trusted adult that your children (and you!) can come to with a myriad of problems.
