Hi! My name is Bailey and I am currently a graduate student at Northwestern University in the field of Speech Language Pathology. Overall, I have over eight years' experience working with children, specifically children with special needs. I have worked for the past 3 years as an Early Intervention specialist for children with autism at Children's Hospital of Michigan. I provided direct ABA therapy to children ranging from 2 to 13 on areas ranging from language development to general life skills (including toilet training, dressing, food prep, basic living skills). I also worked as an assistant teacher for a life skills program for children with autism. I also was a residential coordinator for two summers in a program for gifted students at Northwestern University. I was responsible for the overall care and well being of 10-12 children during there stay. I planned different activities and events during my time at this program including educational games and crafts. I also have general experience with tutoring and babysitting. I absolutely love what I do because I see the difference that good care and therapy can bring to a child with special needs.
