Hi! My name is Alanna and I have had experience working with children and adults with disabilities for as long as I can remember. My oldest sister has severe Cerebral Palsy, so growing up I learned a lot about special needs care. I have worked with the Best Buddies foundation, as well as a disability service called Easter Seals in Milwaukee. I have worked at adult daycare centers, child summer camps, and individual homes to care for individuals with special needs as young as 6 months old to as old as about 50 years old. I have extensive experience with assistance with activities of daily living including hygiene, toileting, and feeding needs including tube feeding experience. I have also worked with infants with disabilities with extensive feeding care and colic. I am very compassionate and patient and would love to keep up this field of work!
