About Aya

Hi! My name is Aya, and I'm a recent graduate of Wesleyan University, now pursuing my Master of Public Health at Columbia University. I'm passionate about helping students build confidence in their academic abilities and reach their goals. I have three years of experience as a peer tutor in high school, along with additional experience supporting students during college. I specialize in biology, math (through calculus I), and essay writing/editing, but I'm comfortable working across a range of subjects. I take pride in making difficult concepts approachable, adapting to each student's learning style, and creating a supportive environment where students can thrive.
