About August

Hello students and guardians! I'm August, a senior at WashU pursuing a double major in Physics and Women's Studies and a minor in Educational Studies. As someone who grew up struggling in math and science courses, I understand how daunting these topics can be. But it's my belief that every student is capable of not only passing their class but gaining an interest in the topic that will support them in whatever field they one day find themselves in. Whether the questions are big or small, complex or simple, off topic or right on track, I meet students where they are at and together achieve understanding of how numbers and the world works.
