About Audrey

Hi! I'm Audrey and I would love to help. Here's a little bit about me: - I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Texas A&M University in 2024. - My tutoring journey began in high school when I edited my brother's college essays and helped him raise his grade significantly. I found revising and editing exciting, as it gave me an early glimpse into the depth of college-level English. - After college, I began working as the childcare coordinator at World Relief Durham. My role was to care for kids while their parents attended class; however, I used that time to teach kids simple English vocabulary through games and creative activities. Many of the children only knew "Hello," so finding ways to connect and help them learn was a challenge but very rewarding. That role ended due to government funding cuts, but I am grateful that it introduced me to my love for teaching English. - Now, in addition to marketing and parks & recreation, I am eager to tutor kids in learning English.
