About Atara

I am a graduate student at Towson University studying speech-language pathology and earned my undergraduate degree from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. My academic background has strengthened my communication, patience, and interpersonal skills, which I bring into childcare. I am patient, calm, and approachable, and I strive to create a safe, supportive, and fun environment for children ages 1-12. I hold CPR certification and have completed coursework in early child development. I enjoy engaging children through outdoor play, puzzles, reading, and creative activities that keep them active and involved. I also assist with light housekeeping and follow parents' preferred communication style for updates and daily check-ins. My goal is to provide dependable, caring support and build a trusting relationship with each family.
