About Denasia

Hi! My name is Denasia, and I recently graduated from Delaware State University with my Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and a minor in Special Education. Working with children is truly something I love, and I enjoy creating a safe, fun, and caring environment where kids feel comfortable being themselves. I have experience working with children in preschool, elementary, and childcare settings as a preschool teacher, substitute teacher, paraprofessional, and student teacher in a 1st grade classroom. I love doing hands on activities, reading stories, arts and crafts, outdoor play, and helping children learn through everyday moments. I especially enjoy phonics and helping children build confidence as they learn how to read. Families would describe me as patient, dependable, nurturing, and easy to communicate with. I am CPR and First Aid certified, and I always strive to make sure children feel supported, cared for, and encouraged while they learn and grow.
