About Ashley

I'd describe my personality as empathetic, patient, and curious. I like tutoring because I got two degrees in Early Childhood Education, I truly enjoy helping individuals learn new material, and concepts. I'm looking for a job that will allow me the opportunity to provide for my family of five and my fur babies. I started tutoring when I was in college and then I switched to being a full time nanny. In my spare time, I like to hang out with my little family, swim, hike, camp, and travel. One thing you should know about me is I was once an individual who required a one on one tutor, and I wish to pay it forward! My skills include the ability to remain encouraging with frustrated learners. Explain complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner. Gauging a student's confusion by paying attention to their verbal cues and body language.
