About Katherine

I'd describe my personality as organized, kind, patient I like tutoring because my goal is to become a college professor and help students succeed, particularly in STEM. As a research assistant of 8 years I learned this is an area that needs more focus. I'm looking for a job that helps me grow as well and learn how to teach all kinds and ages of individuals. In my spare time, I like to host board game nights with my husband and friends. One thing you should know about me is education and academic success is a passion of mine. I changed from a neuroscience and physiology background to pursuing a PhD in Educational Psychology because of this. My skills include patience, encouragement, science background.
