About Ashley

Hello! My name is Ashley. I'm a creative with (maybe too) many hobbies and I love sharing my interests with children and encouraging them to explore their own creativity. I'm also a skilled cook and baker-I grew up making Japanese food and now enjoy cooking all kinds of dishes! Having a severe allergy to nuts and peanuts since childhood, I take dietary restrictions and safety very seriously. I'm also CPR and First Aid certified and plan to continue expanding my safety knowledge with additional certifications. I bring over five years of experience working with children across various settings. I've taught Japanese to elementary students, provided babysitting care, taught English in Japan elementary schools, and worked as a teacher in California. Currently, I'm preparing to pass the CSET exams to become a credentialed teacher. I pride myself on being patient, caring, and a good communicator. With clear guidance, I'm a fast learner, and I'm always available by phone for any questions.
