About Ashley

I cannot recommend Ashley highly enough as a childcare provider. Ashley was my neighbor and became one of my closest friends, but our relationship actually grew in large part because of the incredible role she played in my son R’s early years. From around the ages of one to three, Ashley was essentially our on-demand childcare provider. She was 100% reliable — if Ashley said she would be there, she was there. As a parent, knowing I had someone I could trust completely with my child was invaluable. But Ashley offered so much more than simply childcare. She has an incredible understanding of young children and their developmental stages, and she became a wonderful source of knowledge and support for me as a parent. Through teething, illnesses, developmental leaps, changing behaviors, new milestones, and all the little hurdles that come with raising a toddler, Ashley seemed to instinctively understand what R needed and how best to handle the situation. Quite often, she knew how to keep me calm too! She was loving, patient, attentive, dependable, and genuinely invested in R’s wellbeing and development. I never felt as though I was simply leaving him with someone who would “watch” him — I knew he was with someone who understood him, cared deeply about him, and would actively engage with and nurture him. Ashley became an important part of R’s early childhood and an enormous support to me during those formative years. I would trust her with my child without hesitation, and I recommend her without reservation to any family looking for someone dependable, knowledgeable, nurturing, and genuinely wonderful with children.
