About Emily

Hello dear families! I am a former Waldorf early childhood teacher with over 20 years experience working with children and families from birth to adolescence. I have also raised my own child -- now a young adult that continually impresses me. I have a deep appreciation for nature, play, imagination, creativity and mindfulness-- with a joy-filled nature children easily enjoy. I look forward to connecting and working together. What I love most about children is their natural and unbridled joy and interest in the world around them. There is great pleasure to be had in watching them explore with such wonder, and I love to support them in this and celebrate with them. My top 3 child care skills would be creating/holding loving boundaries, nurturing presence, loving acceptance. And number 4-- creativity/playfulness. These skills allow trust and security to become the foundation for relationship and education.
