About Sophia

Hi, my name is Sophia and I am a college senior looking for childcare opportunities over the summer. I have 10 years of babysitting experience, as well as 6 years of experience as a dance instructor teaching kids between the ages of 3 and 12. I am also an older sister so I have been taking care of my younger siblings for as long as I can remember! I like working with kids because it inspires creativity, silliness, and joy in my life. Also, as an older sister, childcare comes naturally to me and I find it rewarding to be able to provide comfort and guidance. In my free time, I enjoy being in nature, doing crafts like knitting and crocheting, and reading. I'm also into playing card and board games with my friends and family. I love sharing these interests with the kids I work with and I am always thinking of new ways to be creative, active, and engaging with them.
