About Aryana

Hi, I'm Aryana, a former middle-school math teacher. I hold a BA in Economics & Public Policy from UNC-Chapel Hill and a Master's in Education from Rhode Island College. Early in my career, I taught 6th through 8th grade math and led study halls in Providence, RI. I also coached the middle school soccer team and was the music director for the school musical. I later worked as an education strategy and policy consultant with Education First Consulting where I supported with state and local education agencies, philanthropy and nonprofits. While I greatly appreciate my experience as a consultant, working one on one with with students is one of my favorite things to do. As someone who is neurodivergent with ADHD, I also teach strategies for organization, time management, and motivation. I'm also an independent musician, performing throughout Seattle, bringing creativity and energy into every session.
