Hi! I'm a licensed Special Education teacher with a Master's degree (M. Ed.) and over six years of experience supporting elementary students with diverse learning needs. I specialize in working with students with various learning needs including dyslexia, ADHD, learning disabilities, autism, and other learning differences. I am an expert in providing 1:1 and small group instruction. Reading is my greatest passion. I provide individualized, evidence-based instruction in phonics, decoding, fluency, comprehension, spelling, vocabulary, and writing. My training includes, Wilson Reading System, Orton-Gillingham methodologies, and structured literacy practices. I also support students in elementary math, writing, executive functioning, study skills, and homework. I tailor instruction to each child's unique strengths and needs while creating a positive, encouraging environment where students can build skills, confidence, and independence.
