About Sierra

Hi! My name is Sierra, and I recently graduated from the University of Colorado with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. I am excited to begin my teaching career as a first grade teacher with Metro Nashville Public Schools for the 2026 to 2027 school year. I have nearly 10 years of experience working with children through babysitting, nannying, and student teaching, and I love helping students build confidence in their learning. My teaching experience has given me a strong foundation in reading, phonics, writing, and math, while also helping me develop creative ways to meet each child's unique learning needs. I believe learning should be engaging, encouraging, and tailored to each student. Whether your child needs extra academic support, homework help, or confidence in the classroom, I strive to create a positive learning environment where they feel supported, capable, and excited to grow.
