About Arianne

Hello! I am Arianne and I am currently a K-12 speech and language therapist in San Diego schools, specializing in helping students use strategies to tackle assignments and working on self-advocacy by being aware of their accommodations. As the school year rounds out in June, I have availability in the summer to help students continue fostering their skills. I am also a proponent of inclusion, letting students know that their neurodivergence or disability does not have to hinder them! I wear hearing aids and used to be concerned about my own disability, to the point I would be too embarrassed to wear them in high school and when I went to UCLA. It wasn't until after when I was a paraprofessional that I realized how much I missed out on, and was inspired by my own students to use my accommodations and pursued my graduate school education, where I learned about neurodivergence. Everyone can learn, and I hope you can consider me as a potential tutor!
