About Annika

I spent the last 5 years as an elementary school teacher after working as a behavioral aide supporting children with diverse learning and emotional needs. I hold an AA in Social & Behavioral Science and Psychology, a BA in Sociology and Media Studies from UC Berkeley, and a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from Sonoma State. I'm currently pursuing my Master's in Education, continuing to deepen my understanding of how kids learn, grow, and thrive. As a stepmom to a 1. 5-year-old, I know the joys (and realities!) of early childhood firsthand. I absolutely adore working with children of all ages-playing, reading, exploring, helping with homework, or just being a steady, compassionate presence. I'm also First Aid and CPR certified. Beyond childcare, I'm happy to assist with light household duties, including pet care. With over a decade of hands-on experience in education and child development, I believe in open communication, gentle guidance, and lots of patience and creativity.
