Currently Private Caregiver to 97-year-old wheelchair bound woman in long term care facility. 5/01/2020 to Caregiver and companion to a women with late stage Alzheimer's with dementia. Feed, shower, dress, prepare meals, light housekeeping, laundry, take her for walks, errands and much more. My role evolved from taking her for walks to needing to help her with transferring from bed to wheelchair and she eventually was bedridden. (3 years) 2019 to 2020 Companion to woman who had a stroke. She resided in a nursing home. Hired as her companion and private caregiver. We spent time reading, walking her in a wheelchair making sure she had enough to eat and drink during the day. Sadly I was locked out of care home as pandemic started. Primary full-time caregiver to an elderly man with Lewy body dementia, bi-polar disorder, renal failure and depression. Live-in position. I was responsible for him 24-7. Managed his medications, food prep, grooming, dressing, toilet assistance.(4 years)
