About Anne

I'd describe my personality as out going, empathetic, and attentive. I like tutoring because when I was a child I had a few teachers whose teaching styles did not mesh with my learning style. As a result, I enlisted the help of a tutor and I was able to experience first hand how much of a difference tutoring can make. I started tutoring in college. I mentored an elementary school student for 2 years during my first two years of college and I tutored a handful of high schoolers in Spanish during my last two years. In my spare time, I like to run, swim, cook, and thrift. My skills include English, Spanish, and Social Studies.
