About Leticia

Hello! My name is Leticia and I am a Master's candidate for an M. A. in Latin American Studies at Georgetown University. I also recently graduated from Georgetown with a Bachelors of Science in Foreign Service. I speak Spanish and English with native proficiency and am also fluent in Portuguese. I have served as a Spanish tutor for young children (ages I have volunteered as a mentor for high school seniors applying to college with the Hispanic Scholarship Fund for the past two years, where I edited and added suggestions to students' college application essays. I also have experience tutoring young children (ages 4-7) in Spanish. We reviewed the basics of the Spanish language, including but not limited to the letters, numbers, colors, and day-to-day objects. I have access to activities and books, as well as worksheets for children of all ages. I have also worked as a babysitter for young children for three years, and am comfortable working with pets as well.
