About Annaliese

I'd describe myself as nerdy, secure, and deeply compassionate! I've always wanted to teach. I remember playing "teacher" with my younger brother as kids. Tutoring lets me really connect what I love about my own learning and teaching experiences to a student's individual experience. I'm looking for a job that helps me re-spark that love of learning in students that I believe all learners deserve. I started teaching in early childhood facilities, watching infants reach kindergarten-readiness. Now I'm ready to watch little ones reach college-readiness! One thing you should know about me is I'll never give up on a child, ever. My skills include adaptability based on the student's needs, gaining trust, and building confidence. I like to put on music, grab my significant other to sit by, have a little snack, and do my own homework for my astrophysics degree. If I don't have homework, then I'll watch movies with my dad, go to a museum, or play Batman: Arkham Knight for the 5th time.
