About Lauren

Hello! My name is Lauren and I am entering my senior year of college. I am pursuing my bachelor's in psychology and my masters in theory and practice in elementary education. I have had two years of experience volunteering at Ritta Elementary in a third grade classroom. I was in charge of creating activities to help a small group of students increase their scores on a math fluency test. I also assisted with one-on-one homework help with the students, played games and sat in on lessons to observe and learn. I have a lot of experience with babysitting and child care but have not had any paid tutoring experience so that is why I am looking for a tutoring job. I am looking to gain more direct teaching and tutoring experience. Due to the pandemic, all of my classes are online which provides me a very flexible schedule for the upcoming semester. I am a highly motivated, positive and energetic person with an enthusiasm for learning, teaching and kids!
