About Annabelle

I am a bilingual (English/Spanish) social worker with over 10 years of experience supporting children and families through advocacy, counseling, and education. For the past four years, I've worked as a school social worker, following two years as a school-based therapist and five years with the Guardian ad Litem program that worked closing with the Department of Child and Family services. My passion lies in helping children build strong social-emotional and coping skills to promote lifelong success. Creative by nature, I enjoy incorporating crafts and hands-on activities into learning and emotional development. I also love helping with homework and fostering confidence and independence in young learners. After years in the school setting, I'm seeking a new opportunity that allows me to continue shaping young minds in a more balanced, nurturing environment--one where I can rediscover the spark that drew me to social work in the first place.
