About Andrea

My name is Andrea and I am currently a senior at GW university! I have a lot experience supporting and working with children in educational and mentorship settings, including children with special needs. Growing up with a brother with autism has given me a deeply personal understanding of the patience, adaptability, and empathy required to support all children. I have 4 years experience babysitting and in aiding and caring for special needs children at centers. I am comfortable in working and helping in English and Spanish. I prioritize calm communication and emotional safety. I understand the importance of routine and love participating in games and fun activities. I am also comfortable with pets and in helping out with them if necessary! Above all, I strive to create an environment where every child feels comfortable and supported!!
