About Andrea

I am a credentialed English teacher with over 15 years of experience working with students and helping them build confidence in reading and writing. I hold a Single Subject English Credential and two master's degrees, and I currently teach high school ELA and ELD. I have worked with students in many settings, including traditional classrooms, online learning environments, and one-on-one academic support. I specialize in helping students improve reading comprehension, essay writing, grammar, and literary analysis, and I also provide support for English learners preparing for assessments such as the ELPAC. I work well with students of different learning styles and focus on creating a supportive, encouraging environment where students can strengthen their academic skills and feel successful.
