I am a graduate student getting my Masters in Teaching in Elementary Education. Over the past year and a half, I have completed graduate courses and field experience in math and reading intervention for elementary students. During this school year, I have been a substitute teacher for multiple elementary schools in the Twin Cities. Last year I was a nanny to two children, one toddler and one infant. I have a passion for teaching children how to read. Early intervention in literacy gives children a pathway to success in the future. I have created and delivered many lessons on literacy skills including phonics and fluency. Teaching reading is one of my favorite parts of elementary education.
