About Amy

I am a former EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) with several years' experience handling 911 emergency calls for the city of Atlanta, Georgia. I've also received training as a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant). All of my medical experience has helped me in caring for patients with a wide variety of conditions such as dementia, Alzheimer's, stroke victims, cancer patients, clients with diabetes and generalized declining health related to aging. I have 10 years' of caregiving experience ranging from companionship to patient transfers (repositioning) changing out I. V. fluids, providing transportation to and from appointments, medication management, running errands, cooking and light cleaning.
