About Amelia

Hi! my name is Amelia but you can also call me Mia. I graduated from Iowa State with my BS in psychology, and before transferring I attended Iowa Central and graduated with my AS in biology. I would love to continue my education in psychology with goals to get my PhD. During my college education I was a student athlete running cross country and track. Both which helped my grow and build time management skills. I have worked in health care as a psychiatric assistant, with hands on patient experience. I have had experience working as a PBIS para at a elementary school while coaching middle school track. I also have many years of experience as a nanny. As a nanny I know the importance of providing a fun but safe environment for the kids while effectively communicating with the parents of expectations and any problems that may arise. I am happy to help with daily cleaning, laundry, and cooking. I also have a vehicle for transportation.
