Hi, I have experience working with elders experiencing physical, social, and emotional changes. I have worked in live-in and out environments. My main responsibilities included cooking for specialized diets, cleaning, personal care, and coordinating social activities. My main focus is on building relationships and engaging others with positive verbal and non-verbal communication. I'd describe my personality as patient, curious, thoughtful. I like caring for seniors because our elders hold wisdom and experience beyond our knowing. As elders complete the cycle of life, we can meet in places of mutual growth and support. I'm looking for a job that allows me to build relationships, learn and grow with others and find mutual benefit. In my spare time, I like to garden and be outdoors. I'm building an off grid earthbag house in the desert. I'm always learning new building and repair skills by taking things apart and putting them back together.
