I believe children are a precious gift to be protected and nurtured in the best ways possible by parents, family members, teachers, and caregivers. I have two beautiful children (an 11-month-old son and a 9 yr old girl) who I am blessed to stay home with the past year. In 2024, I worked with ages 4 to 10 as a summer childcare and after school care worker. I taught a 2nd grade Sunday school class the year prior. I am CPR/First Aid Certified as of summer 2024. I enjoy volunteering with my daughter's school in Winston Salem for field trips, book fairs, cafeteria duty, and more! I am used to multi-tasking and juggling different roles and responsibilities daily. We have two spunky dogs and a happy gecko at home in East Bend, NC and when my husband is home from work we enjoy quality time together! Care. com is my way of funding my schooling expenses next semester as I study to become a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist.

Amber is truly a God send! Our initial meeting felt very comfortable and easy! Hiring her was a no-brainer! She is beyond accommodating, responsible, tidy, organized, and overall just a wonderful person! We only need her childcare services about twice a month, and even in that short time that she spends with our son, he immediately smiles and lights up when he sees her! She communicates with me and my husband throughout the ENTIRE day; multiple updates and photos documenting the day with our son. In my profession, it can be very busy at work and knowing someone fully competent and capable is taking care of our son is truly reassuring! Amber has now become a vital part of our family!
