About Michaela

Hey there! My name is Michaela and I am a 28-year-old current middle school social studies teacher. With summer approaching, I am looking to nanny for a local family and provide an engaging, fun summer full of learning, creativity, and outings. My goal for the child(ren) is to have that important decompression time from school that summer provides while maintaining necessary structure and routine as well as rich learning opportunities. I also will support any goals you have for the child(ren) as well and help them work towards those goals in meaningful ways. While I currently teach middle school, I am certified in all core subjects grades K-6 and have other professional experience working with children ranging from 6 months old all the way through 17 years old. I also have experience working with children who have special needs such as autism, ADHD, emotional regulation issues, and physical disabilities.
