About Amanda

I value warmth, reliability, kindness, and fun. I try to strike the balance of commitment to my responsibilities and not taking life too seriously. I am looking for the right family to hopefully commit to a longterm, part-time position as a childcare provider and household support person. I am available Monday-Thursday 8am-1 p.m. I have around five years experience in youth programming at the YMCA and the Associated Recreation Council. In these positions, I was a program director who created outdoor and afterschool enrichment camps for school aged kids. These days, I am an attachment-based individual teen and adult psychotherapist. I support teens and adults navigating interpersonal relationships issues, anxiety, self-esteem, and many other challenges. I am hoping to find a warm, kind, fun family to commit to a longterm, part-time position in support of their family's wellbeing.
