About Amanda

Hello all! I'm Amanda; a Florida transplant with South American roots. I have many years of experience working with children of various age groups. I started babysitting when I was 15yo, nanny ft/pt throughout college and have most recently worked as a nanny for Seattle families. I also taught pre-K pre-covid. My personal strengths while working with children all derive from genuinely connecting. My knowledge of child development allows me to create fun and age appropriate activities and ultimately meet the children where they're at. While my vast experience allows me to successfully take on day to day challenges. My overall ability to provide children a safe and warm environment is truly my greatest strength of all. I'm a caregiver, teacher, professional storyteller, fun connoisseur and safety administrator. I'm passionate about being a positive support figure leading by example, always with empathy and encouragement.
