About Amanda

Hi, I'm Amanda, a dedicated childcare provider with a strong passion for transitioning into one-on-one care for children with special needs. I create a calm, supportive environment where children feel safe, understood, and able to grow at their own pace. While my experience has been in group childcare settings, I have found that I'm most drawn to providing individualized support and building deeper connections with children who need extra guidance. I am especially interested in 1:1 care because it allows me to focus fully on a child's unique needs, routines, and emotional development. As a mom of three, including my youngest who has autism, I bring both personal experience and deep compassion. With a background in Psychology and a focus on behavior, I believe all behavior is communication and strive to meet each child where they are.
