About Alyssa

Hi, I'm Alyssa! I'm a mom of two-a 3-year-old girl and a 2-month-old boy-and I'm looking to welcome 1-2 kiddos into our home for childcare. Our days are filled with outdoor play, crafts, games, learning, and plenty of fun! I've had the joy of caring for a little boy in my home for the past 2. 5 years, but he'll be heading off to kindergarten this fall and will no longer need full-time care. I have a bachelor's degree in Psychology, and I'm currently working toward my master's degree in Behavioral Health. One of my biggest passions is helping children build strong social-emotional skills and discover healthy tools to navigate the many emotions they experience as they grow. My previous experience includes working as a Behavioral Specialist, where I provided crisis intervention and developed and monitored behavior plans for students ages 5-21. Most recently, I've spent the past 2. 5 years nannying a wonderful little boy on the autism spectrum.
