I am a school social worker offering summer care in my home for up to 2-3 children during the months of July and August, 2026. I have 7 years of nannying experience in addition to 6 years experience in the social work field with children and families. I work closely with childhood development and positive behavior management every day. Sensory play, problem solving, and emotional regulation are my jam. I love to get kids outside and soaking in the fresh air. Nothing brings me more joy than seeing them be able to use their creativity and imagination. I'm happy to transport for day trips to the library or the zoo, and we are walking distance from a playground. I am also happy to work on school readiness or pre-academic skills if that fits your family's needs. A little about our home! Kaela is probably the sweetest person I've ever met. She has patiently, creatively, and lovingly cared for our two young children as our nanny for over a year, and they love her. She's guided them calmly through every conflict, and communicated well with us any time an issue arose.She has also cooked, cleaned while the kids were sleeping, and cared for 3 extra kids at dinner and bedtime when our family was in town. She's the best and she's definitely the person you're looking for.
