About Amanda

I am an academic adviser at a local university. In my position, I tutor college students daily in various subjects. When working with students, it is not just about helping them learn the material, but also helping them learn study skills and gain confidence in the subject. I can tutor students in the following subject areas: English/language arts, reading comprehension, social studies/history, government, and sociology. I can tutor up to middle school math, too. Given the pandemic, I can meet virtually if that is the preference.
