About Sheyla

Hi! My name is Sheyla and I am a college student at Monmouth University, where I'm a double major in Political Science and Homeland Security. I have a strong passion for academics and especially love English. Throughout most of my high school career, I tutored students in a variety of subjects, with a particular focus on helping Spanish-speaking students who were learning English. As a bilingual Spanish speaker, I was able to make learning more comfortable and accessible by explaining concepts in both English and Spanish when needed. I worked with students across different subjects and adapted my tutoring style to their individual learning needs. I'm patient, encouraging, and passionate about helping students succeed. I believe that every student learns differently, and my goal is to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, building their confidence, and reaching their academic goals.
