About Amanda

My name is Amanda, and I have had a passion for working with children since I was 16 years old. My childcare journey began where I started as an assistant in the1-year-old classroom. As I gained experience, I became a part-time floater and also worked in the after-school program with elementary-aged children. I later returned to a full-time role, caring for both1-year-olds and young toddlers. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I stepped away from childcare to prioritize the health and safety of my family. Once it was safe to return, I joined First Baptist Church, where I cared for infants and1-year-olds. Throughout my career, I have completed CPR, First Aid, SIDS, and early childhood education training, and I am happy to renew any certifications as needed. After my time in the classroom, I transitioned into my first long-term nanny position, where I spent nearly three wonderful years becoming a trusted part of the family's lives.
